Calling all 10year olds

Hi all,

I received the following email today from the producers of 'Are you smarter than a 10year old'

If you are 10 then read on....

Hello Kate,

I am contacting you because Sky 1 are producing the third series of the hit quiz show ‘Are You Smarter Than Your 10 Year Old?’ which is presented by Noel Edmonds.  We are looking for brand new contestants and 10-year olds to take part!

However, for this series there are some great twists!  We are looking for 10 year-olds to take on one of their own relatives!  Relatives can include parents, uncles, aunts, grandparents and even brothers and sisters as long as they are over 18.

Each 10-year old can choose four of their 10-year old pals (they don’t necessarily have to be from the same school but it helps if they have a common interest such as being on the same football / hockey team or in a Scout or Brownies group) to play along with them.  Contestants stand the chance to win huge cash prizes!  This series promises to be even more entertaining as adults face the added pressure of taking on their own 10-year olds.  This could be a fantastic opportunity for your pupils to represent your school and show the nation just how smart they are!

I have attached an application form, so if any of your students would like to apply with a relative, they should call us on the Contestant Hotline and book their place at our auditions asap.  We can then talk them through the application form which will need to be returned either by post or e-mail to:
